Don Quixote in the only solitude that occurs in world literature. Hamlet dispatches popular monologues and intellectual triumph without trouble in the halls of his revenge on those who live with him. Raskolnikov, the murderer of ascetic thinker Crime and Punishment, knows that all his minutes are novel and not the dregs of their dreams is lost. But Don Quixote is alone, let alone, and any event interrupts.
